British style transphobia is here too

Over the weekend a new organization called lgbfightback launched a website and twitter account. This organization like it’s British counterpart are an attempt to mobilize the transphobic left.

Their first demonstrations were on Valentine’s Day in Hartford and LA.

In the days since Joe Biden took office, a high number of legislation aimed at transgender youth have been proposed in conservative states. Now there are organizations trying to weaken support among Democrats and people on the left. The next chapter of the culture war seems to be centered around the lives of transgender people.
